Welcome to my Mitton website

The Mittons were living in Kettering, Northants, England in the 1600's and  their descendants include a large branch who emigrated to Australia sometime between  1851 and 1854.

I would like to thank many people on both sides of the world for sharing their family  trees with me.  For this reason, I am unable to confirm that all details are  accurate, therefore if you do spot any errors, please contact me.  Also, if you have  any information or photographs to contribute, I would be very grateful. You will find  an acknowledgement to individuals in the Sources list.

With this latest upload I have attempted to assemble the very early part of the Mitton family using  events from parish records and other sources. I have had to use logical assumption in some cases and  therefore cannot guarantee the accuracy of the details.  Please let me know if you spot any glaring  errors! I have also omitted any individuals whom I know to be under 21 years of age and will only  allow genuine researchers to view the tree.
